Easter Activity Sheet- printable version
Print this sheet out for the kids in your children's church class or Sunday school class and read them the story on Jesus being crucified and how he rose on the third day. Once you finish reading the bible story to them hand them this sheet so they can write down what they remembered from the story on Jesus. You can either hang their papers up on a bulletin board or let them take them home. This is just an easy writing activity sheet for the kids to do during class time.
Here is the scriptures from the King James Version Bible on the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus. The scriptures are from Matthew ch.27-ch.28:17. You can also use the scriptures from Mark ch.15-ch.16, Luke ch.23-ch.24, John ch.19- ch.20. Depending on where you want to start the story for the kids just pick out the scripture and then read it to them. You can do the entire long version or shorten it down depending on how much time you have in class.

Matthew 27:1 KJV When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
Matthew 27:2 KJV And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
Matthew 27:3 KJV Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
Matthew 27:4 KJV Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
Matthew 27:5 KJV And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
Matthew 27:6 KJV And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
Matthew 27:7 KJV And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
Matthew 27:8 KJV Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
Matthew 27:9 KJV Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;

Matthew 27:24 KJV When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
Matthew 27:25 KJV Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
Matthew 27:26 KJV Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

Matthew 27:58 KJV He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.

Matthew 27:60 KJV And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

Matthew 27:65 KJV Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
Matthew 27:66 KJV So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
Matthew 28:1 KJV In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
Matthew 28:2 KJV And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

Matthew 28:13 KJV Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
Matthew 28:14 KJV And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
Matthew 28:15 KJV So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
Matthew 28:16 KJV Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
Matthew 28:17 KJV And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
