Cut three flower petals out of the yellow construction paper using the decorative cutting scissors. Tape them together. Tape a large popsicle stick to the back of the three flower petals. Then cut out two green leaves and tape those to the back of the popsicle stick. Tape 2 green colored goggle eyes to the flower. Draw eyebrows, freckles, and a mouth. Cut a small square out of the yellow construction paper and write, "Happy Mother's Day!" on it. Cut a long rectangle out and write the words, "Thank you Lord for my mom." Now tape the flower you made to orange construction paper and take your two pieces of yellow construction paper with words on them and tape those down to the orange construction paper too.
Or trying making a plant stake and just stick the yellow words to the top of the flower by taping it on. Then stick the popsicle stick down in a potted plant outside or inside.
